it was pretty cool

I felt like it was lagging the whole time though, because of the zoom ins than freezes, and it was a little long,
but was definitely un-expected (ending)

Greensinge responds:

Yeah, I was trying to create some suspense as to what was going to happen.

At least I achieved my goal with the un-expected-ness!

Thx!

lol

I feel sorry for the people that ask if their are wiis in stock, they're so ignorant to ask something like that; there are never available wiis.

for example, we were getting stuff at game stop and a guy came in and asked, hey do you have any.. .. Nintendo wiis in stock? (like, a week before Christmas)" you'd think after a year of release they'd be findable, but Nintendo isn't making enough.

anyway, that was really funny. (I'm not asian,) but the racist part wasn't as funny as the rest of the 'jokes', and the audio quality of the screaming could have been better, but the presentation of the wii from the customer was great.

heh heh

it would have been funnier if Hawaii was actually on the map, elsewhere, as well as the glowing circle of an island it was where he went. a string of islands like Hawaii could simply not exist in the Atlantic, lol.

Lochie responds:

I don't even know where Hawaii is, so I stuck it in a random spot. I think Cuba is supposed to be there, oh well.

heh heh

I thought you'd be clever and make the bright portal the demise one, because people would assume the black tinted one was the bad one, so I went with black and they got pwned by dibura from street fighters? lol./

I've never heard of battle frogs, It seems like its a descent game, sort of

great technical ability, you only lost a point because the animation wasn't technicaly yours.

never thought i'd see that!

DK sticks, with a barrel MACHINe, good white stripes music, and a collapsable hammer item. the line-stick animation was incredible! could you PM me your technique? I've recently been into stick animation.

as for improvement.. hmm.. ? :)

th1rt3en responds:

There's really no secret, I just studied movement. The only thing I do is shimmy and shift each body part for each next frame, which is why I used line and not brush. I have a few books on actual animation technique though, so those helped. Thanks!

haha!

ha! ha!! das war schrecklich! mein Lieblingsteil war das verrückte Bit mit Tommy! (der Endteil!)

(if you don't speak german:)

ha ha! that was awesome! my favorite part was the crazy bit with tommy! (the end part!)

(sorry, I just had to practice my german)

im probably wrong but..

isn't the mp3 player in the beginning a zune?

awesome... well..

well, it was a great flash, but it wasn't really one layer, because you can't have a tween moving on top of something static in the same layer unless they are in movie clip symbols, which count as layers dont they? it says "layer." it would have been really an interesting thing to see if symbols wern't allowed, because with REALLY only one layer to work with, it would be really hard to animate.

the music choice was awesome, as well as the opening graphics. I rate this 5/5, but star it 9 because it's only knd of 1 layer (unless Im mistaken)

it's a great collab, I actually saw the thread, great movie!

Im sorry if I'm being mean, I don't like being mean, like OTHERS.. '~'

sorry for taking off pandoras uber post...

I didnt need to be co-authored, just having the part in would have been enough, because I'd be credited at the end. I noticed it could have been possible since the song didn't end for the credits. anyhow, If you do another one of these pm me, Ill be happy to throw togethor a stick short without expecting co-author.

(it wasnt fair to be rid of such a nice post as pandoras, here it is:

(again, the following is pandoras credit, opinion, and writing)

Firstly I've got to say I'm in an animating crew with Doomshock, farfenwaffle and Ethion, yet I'm going to give my personal opinion and some constructive critism towards each animator that took part in this collab.

KingKombat - scene 1
very poor use of frame by frame, filters used well but using a picture for the world instead of drawing one? Thats really REALLY lazy, looks really rushed and poor quality, in future work longer on the drawing and with the effects frame by frame them a little better 3/10

Farfenwaffle - scene 2
a much more entertaining fight, yet the characters seem quite rigid in the way they move, they dont flow with the sort of elequene that say Xiao Xiao, the filters were used well and the sound effects were pretty damn good too. In future use more drawings to fill in the gaps between frames as it looks quite rigid 7/10

Ethion - scene 3
very short and needs a lot of work, the area where enemies went through the floor and the walls were rather well done and total frame by frame made it good, but you need to work on the level drawing it looked a bit rough 4/10

Dominicansoldier - scene 4
Holy shit! now were getting better! excellent use of frame by frame on both the stickmen and the grapical effects like the 'magic' and the debris during the fight, very proffessionaly pulled off, i don't see anything to really pick up on 9/10

shruikann - scene 5
like i said with Farfenwaffle your animating is really rigid, you need to add some more keyframes in there to spice it up a little, I liked the graphical effect on the "breakback" move 7/10

Doomshock - scene 6
blood was perfectly drawn, excellent frame by frame, smooth fighting, brilliant and entertaing (although unfourtunatly short) fight, nothing could make this better 10/10 (other artists take note)

SHOQ - scene 7
now this one caught me off guard, i wasnt expecting something like this, good use of frame by frame, especially on the blood and i liked the effects of the screen flare the only thing i could pick up on was the was the guy exploded from a line of wire, (to be frank i didn't see how that could make a man explode) 9/10

alex-the-cow - scene 8
that made me laugh, a bit rigid but really good! liked the glow effect on 'jakie' and the afterimage on the slowmotion kick was alright, needs a bit of work though and a bit more action as the majority of the content was them talking, 5/10

Farfenwaffle - scene 9
as i said before make more keyframes between each movement to make it smoother, this one was a lot more fast paced that the first 8/10

dominicansoldier - scene 10
as stated before, excellent, this side of the animation shows off what yo can do even better 10/10

kingkombat - scene 11
right... really REALLY rigid animation, not exactly funny, when the guy got slammed against the wall he just stayed there, he SHOULD have slid down the wall if only a little, seems rushed to me, 1/10

Muharrem17 - scene 12
great fight, but no involvement with the environment, id love to see them leaping about the place 6/10

iLOTt - scene 13
now that was good, great animation, great backgrounds, great fight and funny to boot some people that worked on this collab could learn a lot by looking at stuff like this, 10/10

pieman123 - scene 14
very good, i like the way the scene was destroyed during the fight, but the was the blue stickman moved about when being hit was a bit unrealistic, 8/10

Muharrem17 - scene 15
I loved that one the only thing i could possibly say (its being pickey) is when one of the stickmen floated in midair for a brief time, it didnt look 100% right 10/10

In all, ill give it an 8 and a 3 out of 10, there

uhm..

that collab was definitely ran by ejit, but he isn't even co-authored, and what about me? I made the menu!
