smart :D

this was very clever in both story and execution. I liked how the fish were sort of like paper cut outs that moved to make the fish form. lacking the completeness was a good thing for the animation, it made it very original

there really isnt much bad at all to say about this animation, so I'll just identify a couple instances where the animation could be polished

when the first big fish was reeled in, it would have been better to see the murky form of the underside of a boat, to the side, and after he broke surface, a lighter shape representing him above water

the dead red fish's severed head's blood was a little mah looking. maybe a much longer (vertically) cloud of blood, with a longer fade out

hope this helped :D

Hello flashbound18, Thank you for the comments and rating. And I think you are right about the fish head and the underside of the boat shot. I appreciate the input!

theres good and bad

pretty good... but the varying quality of Voice Acting sound clips drove me crazy through out. some of the VA was just sort of bad too.

I liked the elaborate camera angles, but some drawings just looked sort of awkward, like the beginning shot at the door

anyway, good effort. I give you eight out of 10 for creative story, dialogue, and decent art. I deduct two for those cons mentioned

keep up the good work, hope this helped :)

Slackman responds:

Getting all the voice acting together on this one was a big pain, and some of the voice acting is better than other parts. It's something I hope to improve upon with my next cartoon, but for the moment being, it is what it is.

In experimenting with new angles, some will work better than others. It just comes with the territory I suppose, but it's something to improve upon for sure.

I'm glad you liked it, and your commentary is helpful. Thank you very much.

like madness but cooler!

simply superb.

the only thing I would say needs even a little polishing is the backgrounds, and that's just because I've never been a fan of those drawn with really thin black pencil lines.

even so, my preferences for backgrounds aren't worth a loss of star. 10/10 and 5/5 sir!

Mottis responds:

Thnx.

I kinda suck at drawing backgrounds though. That's my weak spot, really... The ones you see in the movie required a hell of a lot of work, since I'm not very good at drawing them, to be honest.

trippy

very well animated and original

TheBoogley responds:

I've watched some of your work and you're great! :D

it's pretty nice

the sound effects and explosion tweens were nicely done,

-but this could have really used some music

-something to indicate movement when they are flying through the air on the cop car (like a passing cloud or something)

-a sound effect accompanying speech

also, this was really short! you look like you could make a really nice, longer flash movie. Go for it! make the sequel 3 times this long! if this flash doesn't do well today, combine it with the next portion and resubmit!

globep responds:

Thankyou , flashbound18 . Your review is helpful .

now that, was good

it doesn't go just for mario. I wouldn't know for sure... but I've always suspected the 'Lmao' 'fucking awesome' 'incredibly funny' was written by a blank faced bored kid.

Spite responds:

Hey, so did I!

very funny, very true

and I agree with you, on every hit of this piece of shit.

oh, and heres a nice little scrap you might use later. apparently in the second book Edward, or whats his face, tells the bitch he can't be with her anymore, but shes needy or something and clings. finally he ends up raping her and abandoning her in the woods. afterward, he stalks her, or gets his sister to do it. the really screwed up thing, is all of these stupid eleventeen girls, or 9 year olds say 'I want an Edward!' these books which are soon to be live action movies will brainwash this generation into believing that it is normal and romantic to be raped, abandoned (in the fucking woods) and than stalked. all of this uproar about this stupid fucking movie, and its books, is bullshit.

my favorite part of this was the scene select, the 'pick your poison' bit.
Indeed my friend. indeed.

I give this a 9 because some parts seem a little rushed. you still Surely put LOADS of work into this; I'm just speaking of some of the backgrounds, especially on the movie screen. I understand why the little girls were drawn as they were, don't get me wrong.

Bobert-Rob responds:

Well, if some parts seemed rushed, it's probably because they were. I only spent 3 or 4 weeks making this, and for a 3 minute animation that's insane. A minute per week, essentially, and that's not even including the work that went into the menu and whatnot. Usually I take more time in the creation, but I felt I should finish it as soon as possible. Thanks for watching!

good!

the comedy was ok, it doesn't provoke actual laughs, but it's still funny. The art, voice acting and lip sync was great, and I liked the crowd ambiance; it really made the scene. it might have been funnier if you used the standard censor beep. the one you used was a little unordinary. I believe you can find the beep on flashkit.

DAGamesOfficial responds:

lol thanks. Im just glad my voices and drawing did well really, not too bothered f it was funny or not, just tried to put out an image of what I think of Mario and Luigi at an older era. and yeah I found the beep effect on audacity, I just made my own, couldn't be bothered getting them off the internet, but next time I'll try it.

Great!

Good story and music combination, to those that have functional brains!

the one place of improvement I can see is to use ease on your tweens. to use ease, click on a frame in the tween, than at the bottom of the flash window, in the properties tab, use the slider.

ease: 100 means the tween will start fast but slow to a stop, ease: -100 means the tween will gradually speed up. ease is very useful.

coughing-dog responds:

lol i know how to use ease, i actually used it quite a bit. i didnt want to overuse it but maybe i should have used it more, thanks

nice until...

it was cool until he started being chased. he just randomly decided to run from the big fat pink circle man, instead of kill him; like the blue menacing bear with the shotgun.

-add a story line, even if it's just some simple text in the beginning that explains why the bear is going around, killing people.

-use different animations for different things. your simple bear wiggle animation was consisted for running, walking, getting squashed...

the movie good with sound and music. these elements made it enjoyable and well made, until... pink man

all in all, decent flash.

Little-Red-Bear responds:

thanks for the cool reveiw, the sounds were off man hunt.
