It was awesome as usual!
however, this one seemed quite less refined than the others.
there are a lot of lines extended too log, and just little unsorted odds and ends in the art work
overall however, as usual, awesome! I give you a 10/10 and 5 out of 5 for this, because for something much less impressive, I would probably reward the same.

but the white hand drawn numbers bugged me. they seemed like laziness compared to the clean animation and awesome use of sounds.
use a font like pixel power and type the numbers
it's pretty nice
the sound effects and explosion tweens were nicely done,
-but this could have really used some music
-something to indicate movement when they are flying through the air on the cop car (like a passing cloud or something)
-a sound effect accompanying speech
also, this was really short! you look like you could make a really nice, longer flash movie. Go for it! make the sequel 3 times this long! if this flash doesn't do well today, combine it with the next portion and resubmit!

anyway, the animation seemed a little half assed, and quickly done, but it was funny regardless. also, watchmen takes place in the 1980's, not fictional this year (though I think you knew that)

yeah, the whole thing was really nice. the only change I can really suggest is to raise the quality of the BG with the mound in it, that the main character tag's smashed into,and to also give the BG explosions a blur and alpha value.

Suggestions:
Using picture BG's doesn't fly with many, but you could mesh your characters with the picture BGs better if you use shadows. just draw a horizontal black oval, make it a symbol, give it alpha of about 60%, and blur it on it's X axis.
-the only other thing that bugged me was the special effects. your animation is Just AWESOME, so try to improve for example, your bullet animations. the bullets from the heavy when he was crouching in the hall way looked (excuse me) kind of half assed.
anyway, 9/10... a truly superb animation. :)

it doesn't go just for mario. I wouldn't know for sure... but I've always suspected the 'Lmao' 'fucking awesome' 'incredibly funny' was written by a blank faced bored kid.
